Hybrid Couplers Information

Here at Werlatone.com, we understand that people in the electronics field need a wide variety of components to get the job done. Ever since we opened our first facility in 1965, we have been dedicated to bringing our customers the highest quality high-power multi-octave devices. Our staff includes knowledgeable engineers and highly skilled manufactures working together to develop the most state-of-the-art devices, and since all of our products are manually tested in an in-house high power testing lab, you can rest assured that your products will arrive safe and sound and ready to work hard for you.

One of our most popular products offered at Werlatone.com is our selection of hybrid couplers. Hybrid couplers, in the simplest terms, are three or four-port devices used to split an input signal with a resultant 90 degree phase shift between output ports. Hybrid couplers can also be used to combine two signals and still maintain high isolation between the ports. At Werlatone.com, we have used breakthrough technology that allows us to build on our existing line of Broadband 3 dB high power 90 degree hybrid couplers. Through this technology, we now offer connectorized 3 dB 90 degree hybrid couplers with a choice of standard connectors.

Since we are constantly improving our products with updated technology, we are able to offer you hybrid couplers for all types of use. Some of the features of our hybrid couplers include superior component performance starting at 3:1 bandwidth and multi-octave broadband quadrature hybrid designs. We’ve improved our hybrid couplers’ design with bonded structures to eliminate any air gaps between substrates, more sections per bandwidth for better coupling flatness, thicker center boards for high power and increased repeatability, and electrically shorter and physically smaller RF components. We know that different jobs require different types of 90 degree hybrid designs, so we now offer connectorized, drop-in, and surface mount quadrature hybrid combiners and dividers as well.

If you need help deciding what type of hybrid couplers you need for a specific purpose, or you would just like to learn more about hybrid couplers in general, please feel free to contact our friendly and informed staff at any time. Call us at (845) 278-2220 or email us at sales@werlatone.com.
